the key to a good layout is keep it simple, never go overboard with layouts

to get rid of the icky ad banner at the top of your xanga:
1. go here
2. copy the code
3. paste it at the VERY BOTTOM of website stats
OH OH and if you want your site to look all prettyful like ours
then delete the search bar

then here are the steps
001.. sign in
002...go to look and feel
003...then somewhere around the music area should be a thing that is a drop down thingy and it says show search bar click that arrow thingy to drop that thingy down or w/e and then click hide search bar its as easy as eating cake
